October Art Party: The Learnings Of …
As you may know, we threw a reception on Friday for artist Lori D.—who exhibited a bunch of illustrations she made for her “Learnings Of” column in the Skateboard Mag. These paintings have never been hung as one collection before and we are mega proud to be showing this stuff. It includes her hilarious interpretations of writings by everyone from Jerry Hsu and Louie Barletta to local homeys like Matt Beach and Jon Humphries.
Anyway, the park was packed for the party, and although we really should’ve taken way more pics of everyone, we were too busy chattin and skating so use your imagination. Also, if you haven’t already, stop by and peep out this show—really so fricking cool.
Lori’s second from left. We love her sweet shyness and her gramma glasses.
